Daisy majored in English Literature and minored in Film Studies at Bryn Mawr College.
After completing her senior thesis in which she undertook a restorative analysis of Jane Campion’s wrongfully maligned re-envisioning of the erotic thriller, In the Cut (2003), she has worked as a production assistant and freelance video editor. She has also continued to create her own non-narrative short films, ever fascinated by the affective power of combining music and image and placing a particular emphasis on what she views to be the essential connection between cinema and water. Some of her favorite films include Three Women (1977), Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989), Angel Heart (1987), and American Movie (1999).
